  3. <hi style=afpcap>McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle of the 33rd Fighter Wing, Eglin AFB, Florida. The 33rd FW was formed at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 flying P-51 Mustangs. The F-89 Scorpion, F-94 Starfire, and F-4 Phantom have all been part of the history of this outfit. Eagles of the 33rd FW scored nearly all of the air-to-air victories in Operation Desert Storm.</hi>
